Junior High School Students Came for Their Work Experience! 💫
Hello✨Thank you for visiting the LA CHOU CHOU blog!
We had two junior high school students from Niijima Gakuen Junior High School join us for a work experience program!

Over the two days, they worked very hard, so let’s hear their reflections 💖

During the two days of work experience, I was able to try things I normally wouldn’t have the chance to do.
On the first day, I learned many things, such as how to answer the phone, how to talk to customers, and about the company itself.
I also got to experience making a ring. I started by choosing the ring size, then used a hammer-like tool to adjust it to fit my finger.
When I was polishing the ring, it got very hot, which surprised me.
While engraving the letters, I struggled because I couldn’t trace the letter molds the way I wanted, but when I saw the finished ring with the letters carved beautifully, I felt so happy.
On the second day, I actually served real customers.
When talking to customers, I made sure to speak clearly and look them in the eye.
The customers seemed to really enjoy making their rings, and I gradually started enjoying it, too.
I was nervous every time the phone rang and hesitated before picking up.
Although I couldn’t serve customers as well as I hoped and made many mistakes, I feel these two days were very fulfilling.
Thank you so much for the wonderful experience.

Ms. Y
Thank you very much for giving me such a valuable experience over the two days.
On the first day, I learned many things for the first time, such as how to answer customer phone calls, how to assist customers in person, why people work, and about the store.
I also had the chance to make a ring. Although it was difficult at first because the ring wouldn’t widen easily, I worked hard on it, which made me feel very attached to the finished piece.
Thank you for giving me such a wonderful experience.
On the second day, I was very nervous about assisting real customers, but I was able to serve them with a smile while looking them in the eye.
Watching the customers enjoy the ring-making experience made me feel happy as well.
Seeing how cheerful and close they looked, their happiness was contagious and made me smile, too.
On the first day, I was taught that “When we see customers smiling with joy, we also become happy,” and I truly felt that was true.
Everyone’s customer service skills were amazing, and I want to learn from you so I can provide good service in the future.
Through these two days, I learned what I can and can’t do, what is difficult for me, and it broadened my dreams and the world around me.
Thank you so much.
