This time, we’d like to introduce a repair we carried out for a customer from Yokohama—a cute Mickey Mouse ring(^▽^)/

On the back of the ring was the engraving “Veronica Poblano.”
Veronica Poblano is an artist from the Zuni tribe in the United States, known for creating character jewelry such as Mickey.
Her works are highly popular among collectors of Native American (Indian) jewelry👀

Especially Mickey designs were only available for a limited period, and nowadays, due to copyright reasons, they have become very rare and valuable. The vintage feel and colorful combination of stones make it stylish and truly a one-of-a-kind piece😊

This Mickey ring was also a special order—our customer decided to purchase it directly from the U.S. to celebrate a milestone year.

But!

When it arrived, one of Mickey’s right-eye stones had already come off… 😢

Seeing Mickey with just one white eye must have been quite a shock…💦

After receiving the item, we examined it carefully. Although the customer thought the right eye was made of onyx, we discovered that it was actually agate.

We then proposed several repair options and estimates—using onyx, agate, or other possibilities. In the end, the customer decided to go with agate, closer to the original design.

Once the item arrived, we also handled follow-up by phone, which we are always happy to do📞

It’s almost as if life has been breathed back into him.

Because the stone is natural, we explained that there might be slight color variations.
However, when you look at the overall piece, it blends in beautifully without any sense of mismatch.

After delivery, the customer kindly shared their feedback:

“It was repaired so beautifully, I’m really glad I asked you.
I’m very happy that it was perfectly restored.”

This ring, ordered from the U.S. for a milestone occasion, clearly holds deep meaning for the customer.
