Today’s Introduction: Handmade Wedding Rings 💍

A lovely couple from Gunma Prefecture visited our studio 😊

While searching for wedding rings, they discovered that they could make their own and immediately agreed—“Handmade wedding rings sound perfect!”

We’re so happy they found us and chose to come to LA CHOU CHOU. It warms our hearts when couples discover the charm of creating a wedding ring that can’t be found in ready-made products (*´∀｀)

The materials they selected were…

J chose Pt900, and R selected K18 Champagne Gold 🌟

Platinum is a classic choice for wedding rings in Japan. It’s strong against deformation and discoloration and easy to match with any style.

K18CG is extremely popular for its gentle tone that blends beautifully with the skin—a perfect balance between gold and silver 😊

Let the Wedding Ring Making Begin

At our studio, the process starts from melting the raw material itself 🔥 It might feel a bit nerve-racking to handle unfamiliar tools, but don’t worry—our artisans stay right by your side❁

Each of them melted their own metal.
The melting time and brightness vary depending on the material.
It’s almost like a science experiment—very exciting! 🎶

Once melted, the metal is poured into a mold to form a square bar.
They then used a hammer to shape the bar for the next step 🔨

Next, they used a large rolling mill to stretch the bar!
This part requires teamwork and cooperation 🔥

From just a few centimeters… look how long it becomes! 😲

After that, the metal is shaped into a ring 💍
Many different tools come into play here 😊

As they polished the ring with a rotary tool, it gradually began to shine… ✨

Because they chose a wave design, they added the wave shape by hand ✧٩(ˊωˋ*)و✧
They discussed together, saying things like, “Maybe we should make the wave a bit stronger?”
And shaped the rings exactly to their liking ✨

Being able to work closely with an artisan and customize every detail is one of the greatest joys of making rings by hand 💡
