We recently received a special custom order from a lovely customer living in Tomioka City, Gunma Prefecture 💍
But this wasn’t just any order—it was a very unique one!
By melting down our customer’s beloved rings and bracelet, we craft an entirely new platinum ring. ✨
At LA CHOU CHOU, we offer the unique service of remaking your existing jewelry into a new creation, preserving both its material and sentiment. 😊
If you choose a full custom order, our skilled artisans will craft your new ring with the utmost care.
However, you also have the option to personally take part in the making process—starting from melting your own jewelry!

The Jewelry We Received✨
These are the pieces our customer brought in: two platinum (Pm) rings and one combination bracelet.
You may be wondering, “What does ‘Pm’ mean?”
“Pm” actually stands for platinum. ✨
Nowadays, platinum is marked as Pt, but until around the 1960s, it was commonly engraved as “Pm.”
Since the customer’s rings were stamped “Pm,” we decided to keep that notation. 😊
It’s fascinating how terminology changes over time, isn’t it?
Just like how some people learned to pronounce pH as “peh-ha” while others say “pee-eich”!
(For the record, I learned “pee-eich.” 😄)
Anyway—back to the jewelry!
We melted down two rings and one bracelet, combining all three pieces to create a new pair of matching rings.

A beautiful hammered ring that sparkles brilliantly✨
We used every bit of the melted material, ensuring nothing went to waste.
Although their shape has changed, the essence and material remain the same. 😌
