The couple we’re introducing today visited us the day before their first anniversary to create their pair rings 💖

They planned to celebrate their special day at Ikaho Onsen.

Wearing handmade pair rings on an anniversary trip sounds so romantic and meaningful ✨

Let us share a glimpse of their ring-making experience.

Shaping the Ring

First, they hammered the ring into as perfect a circle as possible.

Using a wooden hammer, they carefully adjusted the ring’s shape and size.

Polishing

Next, they polished the rings.

Using handheld polishing tools, they worked patiently to bring out the shine.

As soon as the polishing was done, the rings sparkled beautifully ✨

They mentioned that they also enjoy pottery, and their careful craftsmanship truly showed in their work.

Hammered Texture Finish 🔨

Then came the hammered texture process.

This technique involves striking the surface of the ring with a metal hammer to create unique patterns.

By tapping the ring from different angles, they created a beautiful, one-of-a-kind texture.

With a hammered finish, the way the ring reflects light changes depending on the angle, giving it a different impression from a plain ring 💍

Engraving

Finally, it was time for engraving 🥰
