About 40 Minutes by Car from Ikaho! Stop by on Your Way There or Back ♨

This time, we’d like to introduce the 120-minute Silver Couple Ring Making Experience! The couple featured in this post visited us after their trip to Ikaho Onsen ♨

Our shop is located about 40 minutes by car from Ikaho Onsen, so many guests stop by either on their way to or from the hot springs 😊We also often welcome visitors coming from Kusatsu Onsen.

Let’s Start Making the Rings!

It was April, but unusually hot that day! The boyfriend even bought a T-shirt at the last minute 😄 He mentioned that the stairs in Ikaho Onsen were tough in the heat 😊 (There are 365 steps in total, after all 💦)

The stone steps in Ikaho have a retro charm and are a recommended sightseeing spot ♡ We’ve written a blog post about my visit before, so feel free to check it out: [Ikaho Blog here] Also, it was the boyfriend’s birthday on this very day! Happy Birthday 🎉

Here’s the material before it became rings.

We start by heating it with a gas burner to make it easier to bend…

Then, using these tools, the couple shaped the rings into perfect circles 〇

Both of them did an excellent job 👏 Next, they moved on to welding 🔥

Of course, the welding is done by the guests themselves! But don’t worry—even first-timers are fully supported by our staff 😌

The welding turned out beautifully ✨

After welding, we moved on to filing and polishing. By the way, the couple made their own rings themselves! Many guests also choose to swap rings and make their partner’s ring 😊

Finally, they engraved their full names in English letters. Since these were full names rather than initials, the engravings were a bit longer, but they stayed focused until the very end and succeeded 👏

This concluded the ring-making process 😌 We then temporarily took the rings to give them a final polish before handing them over.

The round design ensures a comfortable fit, and the simple yet elegant rings are complete ✨
