The Quatre series is loved for its distinctive, textured design. However, because of that unique design, many brands and repair shops will tell you: “Resizing is not possible.”

💡 Two ways to size up your ring

Rings like the Quatre Clou de Paris feature raised, pyramid-like details on the surface. This means that resizing requires special techniques.

At LA CHOU CHOU, we offer two methods depending on your preference:

① Size-up with a natural finish (appearance-focused)

We add a piece that matches the size of the other pyramids, so the resized section is virtually undetectable.
Perfect for those who value a seamless, natural look✨

② Size-up for precise sizing (accuracy-focused)

In this method, we add one slightly larger pyramid to achieve the exact size. While the added piece is slightly bigger if you look closely, it blends beautifully with the design—so you’ll hardly notice when wearing it◎

▶ Size up from JP 7 to approx. 9.2 (added one section)

This customer contacted us after childbirth, as her finger size had changed and the ring no longer fit comfortably.

With Clou de Paris, we adjust the size by adding or removing pyramids. As a rule of thumb, adding one pyramid increases the size by about 2.2–2.3 Japanese sizes.

This time, we prioritized visual balance, adding one section for a final size about 9.2.

We also preserved the original engraving✨

✨Engraving? No problem!

If your ring has an engraving on the inside, we do our best to avoid altering it.
