What comes to mind when you hear “Takasaki City, Gunma Prefecture”?(Especially for those from outside the prefecture!)

A mountain town? A hidden spot deep in nature?

In summer, we often hear this from visitors who come to try our silver ring-making experience:

“Wow, Takasaki is really hot💦”

And yes, it really is!
Because people associate Gunma with mountains, you might imagine it stays cool even in summer…

But Takasaki gets HOT!!!

Don’t worry though—famous tourist spots in Gunma like Kusatsu and Minakami, which are up in the mountains, are much cooler.

By the way, this is gelato from a café inside Humpty Dumpty, a lifestyle shop just across the street from our store. 🍦

I had it during my break, and it was absolutely delicious! Highly recommended on a hot day😊
