This time, we received a repair request from a customer in Nagoya, Aichi Prefecture, who sent us their CHANEL Première watch via mail⌚The request was to resize the bracelet from XL to LM. (LM is an intermediate size between L and M.)

The CHANEL Première is currently enjoying a huge resurgence in popularity🔥

Many of our customers who bring in their watches own the first-generation Première models from the 1980s, often inherited from their mothers or grandmothers.

Since these are heirloom pieces, issues such as:

After the Repair✨⇩

We removed one link from the 12 o’clock side and two links from the 6 o’clock side, shortening the bracelet by about 2 cm.

The trickiest part of the process is deciding the right size. For reference, the customer’s wrist measured 14.5 cm at its widest point.
After consulting with us over the phone, they decided on the LM size, and when the resized watch was delivered, they said:

“The size is perfect and it looks beautiful! I’m so happy.”
