Today we’d like to share a behind-the-scenes look at the creation of a pair of handmade wedding rings 💍

At our studio, handmade wedding rings start from the very beginning—melting down the metal itself 🔥

It’s perfect for couples who say,
“If we’re going to make them ourselves, we want the full authentic experience!” 😆

Although the process is authentic, you don’t need to worry. We only accept one couple per day, so you can take your time, and a skilled craftsman stays with you the entire time to guide you. There’s no chance of making a mistake, so please feel at ease❁

This time, our customers came from Fujioka City (Mr. A and Ms. S, pictured left to right). Thank you so much for choosing our shop from among so many others 😊

Melting the Metal with a Gas Burner 🔥

The metal melts surprisingly quickly—you can’t take your eyes off it! 👀

Once hardened, it’s hammered to shape 🔨 The sound of tapping echoes in a lively rhythm♪

Next, the metal is stretched by rolling it through a mill.

The two of them laughed and joked together while working side by side 🌞 We also had a wonderful time chatting about their daily life and getting to know them 😊

From time to time, the metal is reheated to make it easier to stretch…

By the end, it has become this long!

Using special tools, the strips are rounded into ring shapes〇

Almost finished! At this point, we take a lunch break ☕

⇩Here are the rings after being rounded and soldered.

Next comes filing and polishing.

For many couples, it’s their first time using an electric rotary tool. At first it can feel a little intimidating, but once you get the hang of it, it moves smoothly ✌As the rings gradually start to shine, the excitement builds ✨

After several dozen minutes of polishing… the rings are complete 💍✨
Both the brown gold and the platinum looked wonderful on their hands! After this, we keep the rings temporarily for final finishing and polishing.
