Since you can take the ring home the very same day, you can wear it during your trip or keep it as a special souvenir filled with memories on your way home!

We welcome many guests who stop by on their way to or from Kusatsu Onsen, Ikaho Onsen, and Shima Onsen 😊We offer both a 60-minute course and a 120-minute course, so you can choose between a quick and easy session or a more in-depth one. This time, we’ll be introducing the 60-minute course! (For the 120-minute course, please check here.)

Let’s Begin the Making Process!

The steps of the 60-minute course are as follows 🔨

This time, we had a lovely couple visiting us all the way from Ibaraki Prefecture! They stopped by after their trip to Kusatsu Onsen ♨They decided to make matching pinky rings for each other! Since pinky sizes are small, some steps can be a bit tricky, but let’s give it our best 💪

①Hammering

Here, you’ll shape the ring into a perfect circle while adjusting it to fit your own finger. One of the best parts of handmade rings is that you don’t need to worry about fixed sizes—you can craft it to fit perfectly 💡

In the 60-minute course, you start with a pre-shaped ring, making it quick and easy. In the 120-minute course, you’ll start from a silver rod and craft it entirely from scratch 🔨

②Filing & Polishing

Next, you’ll use an electric rotary tool to file and polish your ring ✨

We encourage couples to swap rings and make them for each other!The girlfriend was a bit worried because of her boyfriend’s “history” from a past pottery experience… 😅 But despite her doubts, both of them polished beautifully and did a fantastic job 😊

③Engraving

Engraving is optional, but many couples choose it as a special way to remember the experience 😊This couple decided to engrave their initials ♡ You can engrave initials, a memorable date, or even a secret message just for the two of you!

The engraving process is always exciting… and they managed to stamp it in beautifully ✨

Once engraving is finished, we take the rings for final touch-ups and return them shining and polished.
