Belt Size Adjustment, Replating, and Overhaul: Restoring a Watch to Like-New Condition

This time, we handled the repair of a CHANEL Première watch for a customer from Hiroshima City, Hiroshima Prefecture.

At our store, we accept CHANEL Première watch repairs from customers across Japan and around the world.(shipping costs borne by the customer) Most customers communicate the details via LINE or email, and then send their items to us by courier 😌

For this repair, we performed:

　・ Replating of the belt, case back, and frame

This watch was a precious heirloom inherited from the customer’s grandmother, and the customer requested it be restored to like-new condition ✨

The CHANEL Première has been gaining attention again in recent years, and we often receive inquiries from customers who want to adjust the size of a Première inherited from their mother or grandmother. However, due to its design, the Première cannot be resized by the wearer themselves, and the manufacturer does not accept size adjustments.

At our store, we handle both size-ups and size-downs! Please leave your Première in our care 😊The watch we received was M size, and the customer requested a size-down to S.

CHANEL Première Size Guide:

　・ S size: Wrist approx. 13 cm
　・ M size: Wrist approx. 15 cm
　・ L size: Wrist approx. 16 cm
　・ XL size: Wrist approx. 17 cm
　・ 3L size: Wrist approx. 21 cm

Please note that comfort can vary depending on individual preference; this is only a guide.

Many customers are unsure about the correct size, so here’s an example from one of our staff members, Staff A:

　・ Staff A’s wrist: 14 cm
　・ S size: Clasp can be fastened but fits too tightly with no play 💦
　・ M size: Slightly loose but more comfortable; usually the better choice

We can also make a custom size between S and M—please consult us if you’d like this option 😊
