Repair and Size Enlargement of a Cut Ring

This time, a customer visited our store requesting the repair and size enlargement of a ring that had already been cut.

The ring was made of platinum and originally had an engraving on the inside. However, because the ring was cut directly through the engraved area, part of the engraving had been lost.

At our workshop, re-engraving is also available.
In this case, the customer chose not to have the engraving restored, so the ring was finished without re-engraving.

We also received a consultation regarding increasing the ring size.

The ring size was increased from size 8 to size 17.5 ( Japanese size) ✨

Significant ring size enlargements are sometimes refused by other shops, but we are able to accommodate large size increases at our store.

When rings are cut at fire stations or similar facilities, engravings may be lost or the ring may be damaged during the process, which can result in higher repair costs later.
