Today, we would like to introduce a remake case in which a cut Pt900 ring was repurposed and transformed into an open ring.

We also received a request to reshape a K18 earring into a small ball and attach it to the tip of the ring.

As the ring carried a precious engraving, we proceeded with the utmost care to ensure that the engraving would not be damaged during the process.

The design for this piece was proposed by the customer.

Regarding this request, the K18 portion of the earring to be used was lighter in gold weight than the customer had originally imagined. We explained in advance that this could affect the final appearance, and proceeded with the work only after receiving their full understanding and consent.

In addition, as this ring was designed to be free-size, we advised the customer to avoid forcibly squeezing it tighter with their fingers, even if it feels loose during wear.

Although it is adjustable, there are limits to how much it can be resized. The metal itself is not soft, and applying excessive force could cause it to crack.
