This time, we’d like to share the process of handcrafting a wedding ring 💍✨
Our customers discovered our store at a local event called the Dogwood Fest, where we had set up a booth 😲
We’re thrilled that they first found us at the event, and even more delighted that they came all the way to our store to create their rings 😊 We are truly grateful for this wonderful encounter ✨
The material they chose is silver, specifically sterling silver, which is a mix of silver and copper ✨
Silver 925 contains silver mixed with various metals. Sterling silver, on the other hand, is a silver alloy where all the mixed metals are copper.
They chose silver because they wanted to enjoy the natural aging process over time. Silver develops a unique patina as it is used, which adds to its charm (´∀｀*)
Much like leather, silver is a material that gets more beautiful with age. Enthusiasts often describe this process as “nurturing” the material ✨
We hope the couple will create their wedding rings from scratch and continue to carefully nurture them over time.
Here is the material that will be melted⇩Can you see the silver and copper?
The couple melted the material themselves🔥
The husband had experience with a gas burner, so he handled it skillfully 😆
Once melted, the material becomes a single lump, which they hammered to shape 🔨
Next, using a roller, they applied strong pressure to stretch it into a long shape
After stretching, they cut it in half to create two rings
sharing the same piece of metal makes it extra special for couples 😊
They cut the pieces and shaped them into rings 💍
The rings were then shaped into circles 💍 and polished ✨
They polished the rings with full concentration 🔥
They also applied hammered texture (surface pattern created by tapping), which works perfectly with the aging process of silver ♡
Finally, they added the engraving…

・Left: Flat straight / 3.5 mm width
・Right: Flat straight / 2.5 mm width
These stylish, thick rings with hammered texture were completed! The couple engraved their wedding registration date on the inside.
We could have given them a professional finish, but the couple chose to take them home the same day 🚙
For those in a hurry, it’s possible to take the rings home on the same day (stone setting or laser engraving options may require additional time).
