The “Clou de Paris” ring by Boucheron.

We received this repair request via delivery service from a customer living in Amagasaki City, Hyogo Prefecture.

Repair Details

Here are the details of the item entrusted to us:

We were informed that this ring had already been cut once at a nearby jewelry store.

As it is a wedding ring, we can only imagine how difficult that decision must have been.

・Increase the size by adding two pyramid motifs (approximately +4 to +5 sizes) without compromising the design
・Preserve the inner engraving as much as possible
・Professional cleaning

Please note: Engravings near the cut area may partially fade, but we take the utmost care to minimize any loss.

Finished Result ✨

We added two pyramid motifs to the size 9 Medium ring and resized it to size 13.

In the after photo, the area in focus shows the modified section—but thanks to our craftsman’s skill, the finish is so natural that it’s nearly impossible to tell where the repair was done.

We also performed a full cleaning, restoring the ring to a like-new brilliance ✨

As mentioned, engravings near the cut area may fade slightly, but we keep this to an absolute minimum.
